Die Testphase läuft vom 17. Januar 2023 19:00 Uhr bis zum 23. Januar 2023 19:00 Uhr.

Das Ziel dieses Tests ist es, Daten über die Erfahrung von PlayStation-Spielern zu sammeln. Bei diesem Test ist weder Cross-Play noch Cross-Save aktiviert. Diese Funktionen kommt in ein paar Monaten, wenn die offizielle Beta gestartet ist.

Die NDA bleibt weiterhin bestehen, da die Inhalte weiterhin nicht vollständig sind und der Zweck dieser Tests darin besteht, Gameplay- und Serverdaten zu sammeln. Dies ist ein Marathon und kein Sprint. Die NDA wird fallen lassen, wenn das Team das Gefühl hat, dass das Spiel für die Öffentlichkeit bereit ist.

Aufgrund der Art und Weise, wie der PlayStation-Store regional eingerichtet ist, wird sich dieser bevorstehende Test für die PlayStation auf Tester in Nordamerika konzentrieren. Der nächste Test wird mehr Tester aus der ganzen Welt umfassen.

Der Inhalt des Tests wird identisch mit dem des ersten PC-Tests sein, aber mit ein paar Fehlerkorrekturen und einigen Verbesserungen, basierend auf dem Feedback von Test 1.

Wer zum ersten PC-Test eingeladen wurde, wird automatisch zum zweiten Test eingeladen. Dazu kommen noch weitere PC-Spieler aus Nordamerika. Beim dritten Test werden wieder Einladungen in den Rest der Welt verschickt.

What's up everyone , the office has been back in full swing for about a week since the holidays and we are excited to watch Wayfinder improve everyday!

I know everyone is anxious to find out when the next batch of invitations will go out, so please take note of the details below as it contains all the information for the upcoming test for PC and PS5.

The next test will run from January 17th - January 23rd with servers opening and closing at 12PM CT

Invitations will be sent out in waves:

PC INVITES WILL BE SENT OUT JAN 17th and JAN 18th starting @ 12pm CT until 4pm CT
PLAYSTATION 5 INVITES WILL BE SENT OUT JAN 19th starting @ 12pm CT until 4pm CT

A few things to note:

The goal on this test is to gather data on PlayStation player experience. This test will not have cross play or cross save enabled, that will come once we move into the official Beta testing period in a couple months.
The NDA will continue to be in place as this content is once again not complete, and the purpose of these tests is to continue to gather gameplay and server data. This is a marathon and not a sprint, and we will drop the NDA when we feel the game is ready for tons of eyeballs.
Due to the nature of how the PlayStation store is set up regionally, this upcoming test will focus on testers in North America. The next test will include more testers from around the world.
The content in the test will be identical to what was in the first PC test but with a few bug fixes and some quality of life changes we could quickly achieve based on the feedback from Test 1.
If you were invited to the first PC test, you will automatically be invited to this test. We’ll also be adding more PC players to this Test from North America. We will once again be sending invites to the rest of the world for the next event.

It's crazy to see all of the work that started nearly four years ago finally in your hands, and crazier still to think that this is only the beginning. Wayfinder is coming fast, and we cannot wait to have you experience it for yourselves, sharing experiences with your friends and adventuring with new ones. It's going to be a wild ride, so strap in and let's show 2023 what we got!
