We're thrilled to share our latest update on the development of our closed beta.
We invite you to join us for the premiere of the Corepunk professions video. This hour-plus long, one-shot gameplay video provides an in-depth look at the gathering and crafting professions in the game, with commentary included.
Although we have made great progress in improving the game over the past year, there are still some bugs, issues, and unimplemented features that we are working on. However, we wanted to give you a glimpse into what the game looks and plays like at this stage in its development.
We have been putting a lot of effort into refining the itemization and professions features, which will soon be available for internal testing. Additionally, we have made significant improvements to the animations and visual effects in the game.
The music and sounds in the video are also taken directly from the game and provide a true representation of the current audio in the game. We are still working on improving the audio, but we are proud of the progress we have made so far in adding to the atmosphere and overall feel of the game.
To make sure the game is as optimized as possible, we are implementing all the major features and testing the game with bots who can simulate player behavior on a large scale. This allows us to identify bugs and improve the game accordingly.
We have also been working on our backend cloud infrastructure, which is a crucial aspect of any MMO game. Our goal is to be able to dynamically scale the game based on player demand.
While we are still polishing both our frontend and backend code to make the game run smoothly, there may still be some issues visible in the gameplay video.
We're also improving our world generation tools to achieve the same level of quality as our specialized level designers. Our goal is to have larger wild lands and to maintain consistent quality throughout the game world.
After the first closed beta, we plan to release new content every quarter, making our development cycle more predictable and efficient.
We appreciate your support of Corepunk and are working hard to deliver a high-quality game that we hope you will enjoy.
